North Box Elder County Veterans Memorial
About This Memorial
The North Box Elder County Veterans Memorial in Tremonton, Utah commemorates local veterans from 19 communities who served in conflicts including World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and peacetime service. The memorial features a central monument with portraits of the four Borgstrom brothers who died in WWII, a 7-foot bronze soldier statue gazing at them, and stainless steel plaques listing over 3,000 veterans' names. Built on the site of the historic Midland Hotel that burned in 1995, the memorial was dedicated in 2001 with the theme 'All Gave Some, Some Gave All' to honor sacrifices for freedom. The design by local artists includes military branch seals and was expanded in 2022 to add more names.

"The North Box Elder County Veterans memorial is a beautiful memorial to the veterans of northern Box Elder County. Well shaded the memorial delicts a lone soldier in field uniform near the stone memorial with the Borgatrom Brothers on one side and the names of others who were lost during five wars and peace time. Additional freestanding metal stands were added with more names of veterans."
