"We frequently visit Bear Creek Park and decided to walk over to the Harris County War Memorial during our last trip. It features a series of markers honoring the sacrifices of Harris County veterans from various conflicts, including WWI, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the Gulf War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. It's a solemn and meaningful tribute, though the memorial is still a work in progress. Worth a visit for reflection and respect."
