About This Memorial
The Missouri Military Memorial honors servicemen and women from Missouri who died in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Desert Storm, and Desert Shield. Founded in 2010 by Gold Star families, it features a Gold Star Pavilion and a memorial wall with stars representing fallen heroes. The memorial serves both as a tribute and as a means to support academic scholarships for Gold Star families. Its design includes engraved bricks and a central monument unveiled in 2017.
