About This Memorial

Veterans Memorial Park in Grand Rapids was dedicated on November 11, 1926, initially honoring WWI veterans through memorial pillars funded by the American Legion and public contributions. "A park that has so much meaning yet beautiful to walkthrough day or night for tourists and residents alike. My night strolls brought me here and it is a sight to see. Great masonry work and sculptures that are not only historic and meaningful for depicting our history but a great addition to a city that is on the rise that would love to place our part in history.
