About This Memorial
Veterans' Park in Ware, Massachusetts, located at the intersection of Routes 9 and 32 across from Town Hall, commemorates local veterans. The park was built in 1985 on the site of the former Mansion House hotel, which burned down in 1975. Renovated in 2008, the park features brick walkways and monuments honoring veterans from various wars, including a 2011 dedication to Revolutionary War soldiers during Ware's 250th anniversary celebration. The park serves as a testament to the community's respect for its veterans, past and present.

"This park used to be a place where teenager's used to spend time when the movie theater was still there.... Back then it was called "Bum Circle" idky it was nicknamed that, the ppl whom once spent there teenage years there were not and are not bums and have grown up to be great citizens of the town. I do respect what veterans park is and means today."
