About This Memorial
The Olathe Veterans Memorial Park in Kansas is a four-acre park honoring U.S. armed forces personnel. It features memorial plaques on trees, brick walks commemorating lost submarines, and numerous memorial benches. A notable feature is the Four Chaplains Memorial, dedicated to four chaplains of different faiths who sacrificed their lives during the sinking of the Dorchester in World War II. The park also includes a memorial to Korean War hero Lt. Stanley T. Adams, a Medal of Honor recipient. The memorial primarily commemorates service members from World War II and the Korean War.

"This place has a really nice memorial, when the crowds aren’t there it’s pretty quiet. My kids and I love this place in the summer and spring for the Pokémon spots this area is known for. The equipment is nice and it’s one of a few places in town I can count on to provide a great outdoor experience for our family."
