About This Memorial

The Veterans Memorial in Lincoln Park commemorates military service members, prominently featuring a full-size replica of the Liberty Bell. This replica, one of 53 cast in France in 1950, was donated by American industry and originally displayed in the Capitol before being relocated to the park in 1986 for the U.S. bicentennial. Lincoln Park itself is part of Denver's Civic Center, designated a National Historic Landmark in 2013 for its significance in the City Beautiful movement.

"Very nice park right by the state Capitol. But park is full of addicts and someone injecting themselves with things in front of children. There was also trash, syringes, and tents everywhere. What a shame on the state and city leaders, this park is beautiful and should be respected and well kept"
