About This Memorial

The Anthem Veterans Memorial in Arizona honors all U.S. military service members across all conflicts, featuring five pillars representing each military branch arranged in Department of Defense order. Its unique design creates a solar spotlight on the Great Seal precisely at 11:11 am on Veterans Day, while red brick pavers inscribed with veterans' names symbolize public support. The memorial was designated an Arizona State Historic Landmark in 2012 and incorporates patriotic colors representing the American flag. It serves as both a tribute to past sacrifices and ongoing military service, with recent additions including a 250th Patriot Marker commemorating Revolutionary War veterans. The site maintains solemn dignity while offering space for reflection and special events.
